Flipping and pitching the NEW X Zone Muscle Back Craw

With warmer temperatures now here, the fish head for protection and this means for many anglers an opportunity to change up their fishing technique.  If you are looking for a great way to change things up, try flipping and pitching for some bass.

NEW this season is the X Zone Lures Muscle Back Craw which is the perfect lure to try for pitching and flipping and it has a ribbed body that provides micro movements which gives it a lifelike action.

Flipping is a technique that is not casting but merely taking your line, the length or more of your rod and simply feeding the line out as you drop and lift the rod.  Pitching is a bit different as it involves releasing the lure from your hand.  With an underhand soft pitch, you feed the line through the guides while you thumb your spool on your bait caster.  Both techniques work well with soft plastics combined with tungsten weights pending the situation, either hitting mats or long grasses, flipping docks, or other types of cover during the hot summer months.  Combined with a longer length rod, usually a 7' to 7 1/2' in length, medium heavy to heavy, these techniques allow the angler to make quiet presentations into areas with accuracy that you may not normally be able to get into.

For both flipping and pitching the NEW X Zone Lures Muscle Back Craw is the perfect lure to rig as the soft, realistic, textured claws are ribbed on both sides and the outer edges having specially cupped pinchers that taper down to join the body.

The X Zone Lures Muscle Back Craw has a specialized plastic, super fine salt and scent infused formula which allows the claws to float at rest for a time mimicking the defensive stance of a real crayfish. All of these exceptional features produce a craw that swims, hops and undulates in the water creating a NEW unique sonic signature and vibration that BASS LOVE!!!

Available in 16 proven colors to cover a wide variety of water temperatures and conditions, the Muscle Back Craw can be used for flipping, pitching, punching and can be used with your favorite jig or swim jig as a trailer.

The V-groove line running down the middle of the under body is there to help you center your hook for the presentation you pick and also help you get a solid hook set every time.
